After decades and decades of great promise of each Black getting hundreds if not million dollars in reparations…only to be yanked out from under your feet by white democrat elite that promised you reparations?

Take Gavin Newsom for example…he promised you all the world if you only voted for him. Hell he even put together a task force

only to come back after their finding/recommendations he went silent.

And than said here…accept my apology. I’ll promise you some other stuff instead without even apologizing.

“Dealing with that legacy is about much more than cash payments,” Newsom said in the statement. “This work must continue. Following the Task Force’s submission of its final report this summer, I look forward to a continued partnership with the Legislature to advance systemic changes that ensure an inclusive and equitable future for all Californians.”

Make sure you all vote democrat…so they can lie, make promises that they have no intention of keeping.

Newsom never promised cash reparations and he never said he would automatically implement their recommendations.

$800b would bankrupt any state.

He should never have signed the bill to study it when he had no intentions of any reparations other than paying lip service.

In your opinion he only intended to pay lip service.

But you should be happy that cash reparations are not proceeding. Sounds like you are going to find something to be critical of regardless what Newsom does.

He implemented a study. I cannot find anything where newsom said the study recommendations would be implemented.

Isn’t the whole purpose of a study to research and determine recommendations together with costs impacts?

Nah California wont burn. There will not be riots or civil unrest over this. The story will be kept alive and discussed but what this study has done has quantified the cost of reparations (obviously on the parameters of the study).

I think the topic of reparations is valid to discuss but I have no idea what a solution would like and to be honest because its never going to happen its not really a topic that I spend hours ruminating over.
