Good conversation, thanks

Still unjabbed here.

That has to be weighed against your specific risk of catching covid, of having a bad outcome if you do, and the risk of an experimental vaccine with no data on long-term risk. That calculation varies widely across individuals and various age groups. The only responsible advice to anyone on the subject is to consult your physician and make your own individual choice.

You will catch COVID.

Why gamble?

I base my decisions on data not pronouncements from Dr. Science Incarnate.

The FDA demand to delay the release the data that has been the basis of the vaccine approvals for decades reeks of a cover up. I suspect the damage from the vaccines is far greater than Big Pharma and their pals at the FDA are willing to admit.

The refusal of vaccine makers to sell or even donate vaccines overseas without a liability exemption is another red flag.

If the vaccines are so safe, then why are the makers so paranoid about liability?

If the data is so overwhelming for the safety, why not release it?

You have seen evidence that the booster improves those chances against omicron? Because I haven’t. I have seen evidence it can afford a small window of greater protection against catching it.

No, I have evidence the vaccine improves outcomes with COVID.

How do you know you’ll get Omicron?

If acquired immunity from the disease is superior to vaccine immunity and you avoid getting omicron, are you better off if the next variant is deadlier?

We were speaking of the booster. I agree there is plenty of evidence of better outcomes against alpha and delta and I would assume at least some for omicron in regard to the vaccine. As for how you would know, we will be tracking its share of the market so to speak so that would depend on it’s level of success in supplanting earlier versions.

Thats because Fauci and the Dems version of science is nothing but science fiction and junk science.

They completely leave out the science of herd & natural immunity as a way humans have overcome the multitudes of pandemics mankind has endured on this planet.

It’s insane and Fauci is the poster child for :crazy_face:mad scientists  around the globe.

If Omicron is able to get around immunity gained through two shots of vaccine then what do you think will happen with “natural immunity”?

The information is looking like vaccination and booster offers good protection against omicron.

People should get vaccinated.

Do you have evidence the booster improves outcomes with omicron over a two-shot vaccine? Have a link?

Oh, and you really shouldn’t be giving out medical advice. It’s irresponsible and dangerous.

Studies show that natural immunity is far better than that from the vaccines, but it is not 100% effective.

Most colds are coronaviruses, and they are highly infectious. Immunity is only temporary and new variants are constantly appearing. It is normal to get an occasional cold.

The rapid mutations and declining immune response also mean there are no cold vaccines. The natural evolution is for COVID to become just another cold virus.

Those are studies involving the Delta Variant, not Omicron.

Later studies also started to throw some cold water on the assertions made by the Isreali studies.

Funny about the medical advice complaint in one of the daily threads about how the vaccines don’t work.

Omicron is 70% more contagious, how are you going to avoid getting it?

If the prophylactic therapeutic improves your resistance .0000001% over just acquired immunity, why would you not accept that extra magazine?

Does resistance wane with time?

Right, an extrapolation. The truth is you won’t know.

It is not junk science, it is public health science.

That’s not science.

Over COVID, not Omicron.
