Biden and the Generals have said multiple times that their goal is to get every American who wants out on a plane. Now if there are American’s who waited until the last minute to ask for assistance and perhaps they won’t be able to get it, what about it? That sounds to me like it is their own fault. The US government started broadcasting months ago that all American’s should get out. And they set up a loan program to help folks get plane tickets. So if there are still American’s there who want out but can’t contact out folks or get to the airport is it really the fault of our government?

The Taliban wants to start a central government. And therefore they will need foreign money. They can only get so much from Iran. So they will need funding from other countries. How much will China and Russia invest if they prove to be reckless? And certainly they would like US money. So for now they are going to be nice. Will they revert? Possibly. But if they take a big hit financially they will leave themselves open to losing control.
