At this moment in time, do you wish the GOP had nominated and elected a different candidate?

It was like being a huge carter supporter back in the day.

Yikes. After two years. No mas…

Allan

You do have a choice…Mike Pence.

Or you could stick by your principles and vote 3rd Party as I and lots of people I know boycotted Carter.

Friends who thought like you said. but Reagan is terrible. How can you vote him in by boycotting the two parties.

We all knew how bad carter was.

Too bad you can’t say the same yet about the abomination presidency that is trump.

Allam

Choosing one’s principles is always an alternative.

I’m 100% convinced that Trump was the only GOP candidate that could have beaten Hillary. So in answer to your question the answer is no.

That isn’t a choice. Trump will finish his term.

Voting 3rd party en masse would only have ensured a Hillary victory.

Exactamundo. The Clinton machine has sharpened its teeth chewing up and spitting out people like the other candidates. As good as they would have been as President, they could not have withstood Clinton.

I strongly believe no other GOP candidate would have been able to breech the big blue wall. Trump’s message resonated with blue collar working class voters that were key to his victory.

I still believe Trump will be reelected in 2020. I strongly believe Trump supporters see this latest turmoil in Washington as a good thing. Basically upsetting the establishment status quo.

Trump has been one of the best long-term political gifts that Democrats have ever received.

Merry Christmas.

Yep. Biggestal will claim he never read a Trump Tweet. He didn’t know that Trump Tweeted.

You’re right. He saved you from having to defend a Hillary presidency.

How many of Hilary’s campaign would have been indicted? Plea guilty? How much jail time?

Somehow I believe Frms would have been just fine

I don’t know what Frms is. There’s that lefty lingo again.

Dems… typo

But you knew that… and you didn’t address my questions

His Twitter useage botderlines retarded that I agree. He in the end is a president not a dictator and without bipartisanship things aren’t going to pass. Let’s face it republicans didn’t want to do anything with healthcare they had the majority and didn’t pass anything on it.

Cruz is a conservative the demographics have changed so much because of the leftist immigration policies there will never be another fiscal conservative elected as president. And even if Cruz had been president the left would not have played ball with him either, they hated him more than Trump. This is the world we live in expect if Trump loses in 2020 for the republicans to double down on partisanship and vote for nothing the democrats put forward.

They would have been 100% to the left of the two nominated under any republican president.

Seeing how those same people voted dem for the first time in the midterms and we know Obama trump swing voters are also moving away from trump in numbers…you are wrong…again…

I’ll trade Clinton for exposing you guys…fair trade
