If people don’t care if global warming is real or not, then they should just say so instead of posting random things they find on the internet.
Sooo… ignore all of the other catastrophic effects of climate change, and enjoy your muffins?
All the stations in that image that were orange or shades of red. That’s literally why I posted the link for you.
Here’s a better question. How many stations are required to satisfy your skepticism of global temperature averages?
I’m thinking Altair doesn’t read past the headlines of the articles he links to.
LA finally gets above 70F
" Downtown Los Angeles reached at least 70 degrees (21.1 Celsius) for the first time since Jan. 29, the National Weather Service said.
The 41 consecutive days with a high below that benchmark was the fifth longest since records began in 1877 and the longest since a run between December 1936 and February 1937."
Southern California finally sees 70-degree weather - ABC7 Los Angeles…
Yes, you already let us know that you don’t understand the difference in weather and climate a long time ago

Ice ages always happen after CO2 peaks. What triggers the fall in temps?

Axial tilt of the earth, eccentricity, solar variability and more. Its a combination of factors. Do some research on what those are, approximately how long each cycle endures, and that graph may make more sense for you.
As for the lag in CO2, as temperatures rise, oceans warm, thereby releasing more CO2. That additional CO2 that is released then causes further warming… it’s a positive feedback loop.
Then why would the feed back loop of CO2 stop and start an ice age. Shouldn’t it keep going until we are Venus?..
It’s the natural carbon cycle. Typically the carbon cycle is close to being in balance. When warming occurs, anthropogenic or otherwise, we see the additional CO2 loading in the atmosphere because the amount of CO2 overwhelms the ability of our natural sinks to absorb it immediately. But over time, it catches up and does. The temps returning to a cooling trend prevent that additional CO2 from being released, meaning the sinks reabsorb that CO2 after a several hundred to tens of thousands of years, depending on how much CO2 was released during the prior warming trend.
Not a bad theory. So, Basically plants and corals start growing rapidly in the CO2 rich environment and take the CO2 out of the air.
Thats one of the results. But the biggest factor is the combination of orbital variability and solar variability allows the temps to cool which gives the earth time to reabsorb that excess CO2.
And I’ve got to give you a kudos for not dismissing it out of hand
No, problem That’s actually a theory our of Scotland from the 19th century and the guy who figured it out was originally a janitor at the university. If I remember correctly…

Yep, GW has been studied for nearly 1.5 centuries.
Actually, he was studying global cooling that caused the ice age. Warm periods are party time for earth…
That party is what you make of it

It is always fun to enter into the OP’s threads and watch him get beaten like a rented mule with reality.
Looks like there is climate change. California’s changed back to wet. Instead of wasting money on the bullet train, we should have built a lot of micro reservoirs. Poor management under dems. Too bad their voters will put up with anything for a gov. check…
The “bomb cyclone” … So, chilly out there. Reminds me of “polar vortex”…lol!
