Sick and tired definitely. We’re suffering from racial hysteria burnout. Most people go weeks or months without thinking about race. We are already at full civil rights legality. There is nothing left to do. No more racial laws left to pass. Except for a few dinosaurs most people have joined the 21st century and moved on.

And dude. If you think that any liberal wants his child bussed to a violent inner city school, you may want to consider switching to a better grade of weed.

If this was the case then jr wouldnt have put out that racist tweet.

There would be no way any side of the isle would let go of the purse strings of social security. If there is one thing that is bipartisan it is the taking of tax payers money.

In that case, the dems should definitely put racial politics at the top of their agenda. Please, please DO IT! It worked so well last time. We are in agreement on this one. Race should be #1. :smirk:

I kinda get it. Democrats are definitely better off to not take their marching orders from the “woke” twitter mob - i.e. clueless milennials who spend their time on Twitter and Huffpost shaming white people for their toxic whiteness.

The stock market is the best it’s been in decades. Same with employment. Welfare is down. wages are up. ISIS has been obliterated. Obama said that manufacturing was never coming back, Trump brought it back. Regulations have been slashed. The over all size of government reduced. Jobs are everywhere waiting to be filled.

You should check a few non impreachment obsessed news sources. You’re missing a lot.

Most of the Democrats favor retaining private insurance because they recognize that forcing people off their current employer-provided plans would be a political disaster.

What they want is a universally available option, specifically to get around the current system in which some states expanded Medicare and others did not. It is especially telling to compare Kentucky and neighboring Tennessee. Kentucky expanded. Tennessee did not. Results: Much higher rate of uninsured in Tennessee and much higher rates of physician and hospital loss (because they can’t get paid.)

Right now, Trump’s admin is supporting the 20-Republican-State court case to declare the entire ACA unconstitutional. If they win, that would end the mandated coverage of people with pre-existing conditions. That would be a disaster for the Republicans on a par with how ending private insurance would be a disaster for the Democrats.

As long as the border wall is where it makes sense and not sea to shining sea I agree. Maybe someone should point out to the bean counters that it would cost more to get rid of dreamers than to absorb them.

Uh huh

But how do they walk this back during the general election after proclaiming “Medicare for all?” Liz wants to completely shut down private insurance and have it run by government bureaucrats who know nothing about customer service and even less about insurance.

Dems be like:

“I got a feva. And the only prescription is, more racial stuff.”

That’s one I find worrisome. Trump was joking when he said our air and water are the cleanest they’ve ever been. They may have been on his first day but I hear some of our environmental quality metrics indicate less clean resources today.

I’m all for getting rid of reg’s that do nothing to improve the environment, make a workplace safer. Make-work regs, unnecessary record keeping to turn in to a government worker whose job it is to receive said paper. No action, just paperwork. I’m all for getting rid of those regs.

If they’ve learned anything from Trump they shouldn’t be walking anything back. And if you do walk something back you still sell it as moving forward.

To be honest, if DEMs were to take back the Senate, the House and the WH in 2020 I would like nothing better than for Schumer to pass on the legislative nuclear option. That way there will be no SCOTUS packing. So I actually hope you are right.

But down deep, I just don’t believe that will be the case.

They could walk away with this with Biden. Now he’s a racist.

Good on progressive Democrats.

Not going to play that silly game with you. His ideology has been on full display for 2 and a half years.

Hillary wasn’t the worst candidate due to a lack of competence. She is bright and very experienced at high levels of our government.

The reason she was a bad choice was because the misogynistic rightwing media had spent nearly a quarter century demonizing her, and those in the middle who don’t pay much attention to fact vs. fiction had already decided she was too evil…or something.

No, she is not.

If you want misogynistic, check out Hillary’s joining in on the “nuts and sluts” defense of Bill during the 90’s.

Is Hilary running?
