AOC Un-Favorability Increasing, She Blames Fox News

Ok, and the hipsters tend to be pretty liberal, so she’s more popular among liberals, and it ain’t because Fox News gives her coverage. Even if not technically a political event, it sure brought a lot of politicians, and it turned into a political event. Looks like Starbucks Schultz got booed for pointing out socialism failures.

I only know of one fragile princess in politics today…name is Donald Trump.

Speaking of Trump one-upping AOC for snowflakery, in one of his rant tweets yesterday, he hinted that the FCC and/or the FEC should, look into Saturday Night Live for mocking him, citing a rule that doesn’t apply to him, but to candidates, and the non-existent Fairness Doctrine.

But AOC is the whiny snowflake. LOL.

wonder what AOC would say/do if she were consistently reviled in skits on some show.

Probably complain.

Call for an investigation?

Highly unlikely… Such childishness is unprecedented in politics.

Well… Maybe Nixon.

AOC is ruining New York’s economy and reputation. Many jobs have been lost because of her - employers are fleeing!

Thanks for your concern trolling, but New York is doing just fine.

Nate Silver (Whatever one might think of him) just tweeted showing the majority of her support crashed after the Amazon deal among New Yorkers. He also noted she already had little to none republican support before the new poll numbers were released. So the lowering approval is reflected from losing democrats and independents.

I would assume if she is the rising star in the democratic party and ever wanted to advance past a congresswoman she would need to appeal to outside her constituency. There is only so much a person in congress can do, and she has the appeal and media attention to rise to Senator if she hasn’t already knee capped herself.

I am not sure if her district overwhelmingly supported her decision on Amazon. From the polls I have seen (not the Amazon ones) people of color wanted Amazon more than white people. The only group polled who had a majority negative view on Amazon putting their HQ’s there was whites from Manhattan.

It could be argued that the constant media attention is what got Trump elected. I think this is what people are saying here, since she has been a congresswoman she has gotten more attention from big name news companies (not just Fox) than any of the democratic candidates who have announced a 2020 presidential run.

In the day of social media and how it drives election she has more twitter followers than any other member of the house by a large margin. I don’t think the 3.7 million twitter followers she has are Fox News watchers. She is the star of the party.

Lol that was pretty good

New York City is a ■■■■ hole.

Bernie Sanders has almost twice the followers. Kamala harris has 2.5 million compared to AOC 3.6 million, and harris probably gets 5% of the coverage of AOC. Elizabeth warren has about the same as harris and the campaigns havent even really started - they will outgrow AOC by the end of the year easily. And i bet a lot more of AOC’s followers are CEC consumers than the other 2. AOC is not the “star” and her Twitter follower count doesnt show this (look at Obama and Hillary’s counts - thats a STAR). Just because Fox News says “socialist superstar” in every headline and cons post threads here every other day and rightwing media flips out over everything doesnt make her a star. You literally have democrat after democrat in this thread saying she isnt the star of the party, but right wingers keep insisting it to be so. Its pretty clear AOC is heavily propped up by right wing media.

OMG…DANCING!

How HORRENDOUS!

The HORROR!

it’s not horrendous

just childish

Lighten up Francis. Adults can dance.

Dancing is a multibillion dollar industry.

Dancing is childish, but a President giving opponents insulting nicknames is the epitome of grown-up behavior.

I see why there are so many problems in this country…

theres a right place and right time.

adults realize this
