A wall will help us with drugs, human trafficking and some other things, so it is a good thing…next we have to deal with people that want to bring ruin to this country for the sake of votes and their agandas

People that live in border cities understand that we have built walls in most of the places where they are needed. Drugs and human trafficking are actually funneled to the points of entry. Not the places where a wall does not exist. We still need a wall in some areas but the request of $25B is overreach and wasteful.
Instead of listening to a known blowhard, Trump. We should be listening to the members of Congress that have districts along the border. None of which agree with Trump’s wall.

putting your hand on a bible isn’t a “Test”, and I beg to differ on the trust part of your statement, it brings a lot of distrust to those of us that think its strange a person cant/wont put their hand on a Bible when swearing to protect n defend a people and their Constitution.
In court a person has to put their hand on a bible and swear to tell the truth, IF you cant or wont put your hand on a bible its prolly cuz your Godless and therefore, there is TRUST issues.

Swearing on a book that one finds meaningless does absolutely nothing but make people who care about such things feel better.

How about swearing on a copy of the Constitution or Paine’s “The Rights of Man”?

Those are a lot more meaningful to me.
