I don’t question AOC’s intelligence. I am sympathetic to many of her ideas. But she is an immature politician, a seemingly inflexible ideologue, And she annoys me, in much the same way Bernie does.

Why limit the discovery of restaurant business to just “Chinese”? What about Italian, Greek or other ethnic dining establishments?
Ocasio-Castro-Chavez has singled out the Chinese establishments, is that not by her own mindless blabbering racist in itself? The residents of the Congressional District she represents should be outraged and demand her resignation! Their voice in the US Congress is that of a racist fer crissakes!

Agreed. I can say anecdotally that the Chinese restaurants in Chinatown are quite dead right now. I don’t see the same with other restaurants.

And some people won’t buy Corona beer.

If the Chinese in Chinatown frequent China, then I get the reluctance.

However, where I live? They are still booming.

So AOC is supposed to know what business is like where you live or more where she lives? Is it possible her Chinatown is suffering quite a bit compared to the other restaurant business?
