All of those arguing in favor of assimilation, who exactly is it who isn’t assimilating? Or is wanting to change the U S into something else?
I’m more embarrassed by the behavior of white people in both extreme schools of thought—the white liberals Malcolm X warned us about 50+ years ago and conservative evangelicals.
Far as the latter group goes, it isn’t the Syriac (Middle Eastern) or Korean Christian congregations on either side of a main road here who are complaining that every little thing, from Happy Holidays at Christmas time to yoga offerings in schools—excretes all over baby Jesus and forces non Christian ways on them. It’s loud mouthed white Christians making those claims.
I recall few minority individuals participating in the DC Women’s March, or hanging up DEFUND THE POLICE or BLACK LIVES MATTER signs, or wearing their heritage on their sleeves. That’s loud mouthed white liberals in this neck of the woods.

The woke cult has completely infiltrated higher level education and is now spreading into primary schools. Their stupidity is mind boggling, they are dividing various groups of students by gender, race and orientation and assigning admission and tuition advantages for when they are unable to even what allows one to qualify for these terms.
A survey found that 34 percent of white students who applied to colleges falsely claimed they were a racial minority on their application.
Doesn’t matter what your race or gender is, just do a Pocahontas and be a black gay female and collect some sweet affirmative action benefits. I was able to qualify for a minority scholarship by checking a few boxes. Don’t know if it help me actually get accepted but it helped me graduate debt free. There are a variety of STEM scholarships for women that are properly easy to qualify for.
Bet wokies and dems would figure out what a women is real quick if a bunch of white and Asian men start getting in touch with their feminine side

Google it, there are a few surveys that back me up but I can’t link. The financial benefits are the real reason for it I’d assume and any benefits to their admissions odds are just extra.

The Diversity Officer for a GC that I work with tried to corner me while I was leaving a meeting at their offices last year. She was all up in arms that in her opinion I didn’t employ enough minorities or women to suit her. I politely informed her that it was none of her damn business to which she took exception. She thought she had the right to speak to me like an underlying and order me to hire people that generally don’t apply for construction materials testing jobs. I finally had to point blank tell her to go ■■■■ herself ( yes I used those words) but never raised my voice above my normal tone of voice.
I haven’t had any push back from others in that company and I’ve never seen her around since. I don’t think they fired her but are smart enough to keep her away from me.

Seems to me similar complaints about Sears not hiring enough women were made years ago. A review of records was done, & it turns out the “shortages” were in departments where not a lot of women even applied for those jobs, like the paint department.
Many leftists have a warped sense of “equal opportunity”. Do they seriously want to force women, or anyone, to work in areas that totally don’t interest them? Or supervisors to bring them into the group, even though they didn’t apply?

She really doesn’t understand that people who have been in construction for 30 years aren’t very impressed with woke. I’ve been threatened by men on bulldozers or excavators to change my findings and didn’t. What’s she gonna do, wag her finger in my face?
