I’m not sure why this is remotely surprising. This is the mayor of Portland after all. The same Portland that forced it’s last chief of police to resign after he went after leftist protestors for causing property damage. Now if this had been a right leaning group, he wouldn’t have said anything, but you won’t find many right leaning protestors in Oregon. Even the Bundy thing was a transplant.
