Still refusing to answer.

I know, I will answer for you, yes it is illegal in Arkansas to pierce anyone under the age of sixteen.
edit, nope my bad, ears an exception.
> (b) A person shall not perform body art on a person under sixteen (16) years of age, regardless of parental consent, except:
(1) When authorized or prescribed by a physician's statement exclusively for repigmentation; or
(2) When piercing the earlobe.
STODR
728
Now you are being obstinate. You are Still refusing to answer.
zantax
729
Plenty of people have been arrested for piercing without a license.
STODR
730
Except for piercing an earlobe. So an illegal arrest on top of it.

Are they exempted in the law?
zantax
734
According to this there was more then an illegal piercing charge.
Jeremy was also charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, refusal to submit to arrest, and obstructing governmental operations, Tontitown Police stated.
Looks to me like they donât believe the kids recant.
STODR
735
All of which were made up after he refused to answer questions for doing something not illegal.
STODR
736
So now you are claiming they interviewed the kid prior to the arrest.
zantax
737
He wouldnât let them talk to his son, they didnât make that up. If they had a credible witness to him saying his drunk dad held him down and pierced his ears he has to let them talk to his son, sorry.
zantax
738
No, thatâs what they were trying to do and the father wouldnât allow it, exactly as you would expect from an abuser.
STODR
739
So they thought he was an abuser but left him with him the first time?
zantax
740
Apparently. Maybe they left to interview the witness to be sure it was credible.
zantax
741
Bottom line is, if your kid makes a statement indicating abuse itâs not optional whether or not cops get to talk to your kid. The illegal piercing charge should be thrown out though due to the ear exception.
STODR
742
He didnât make a statement he was bragging to other kids. They could have easily talked to him at school or even talked to him at house by detaining dad. They didnât have to make up charges and arrest him to force testimony.
zantax
743
Who says they are made up? He was obstructing justice when he wouldnât allow them to speak to his son.
zantax
744
How is being held down by your drunk dad something to brag about?
STODR
745
No he wasnât. They need a warrant. Hence why they didnât arrest him for that the first time.
