Still refusing to answer.

I know, I will answer for you, yes it is illegal in Arkansas to pierce anyone under the age of sixteen.

edit, nope my bad, ears an exception.

> (b) A person shall not perform body art on a person under sixteen (16) years of age, regardless of parental consent, except:
    (1) When authorized or prescribed by a physician's statement exclusively for repigmentation; or

    (2) When piercing the earlobe.

Now you are being obstinate. You are Still refusing to answer.

Plenty of people have been arrested for piercing without a license.

Except for piercing an earlobe. So an illegal arrest on top of it.

(b) A person shall not perform body art on a person under sixteen (16) years of age, regardless of parental consent, except:

(1) When authorized or prescribed by a physician’s statement exclusively for repigmentation; or
(2) When piercing the earlobe.

Not parents

Are they exempted in the law?

I just posted it.

According to this there was more then an illegal piercing charge.

Jeremy was also charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, refusal to submit to arrest, and obstructing governmental operations, Tontitown Police stated.

Looks to me like they don’t believe the kids recant.

All of which were made up after he refused to answer questions for doing something not illegal.

So now you are claiming they interviewed the kid prior to the arrest.

He wouldn’t let them talk to his son, they didn’t make that up. If they had a credible witness to him saying his drunk dad held him down and pierced his ears he has to let them talk to his son, sorry.

No, that’s what they were trying to do and the father wouldn’t allow it, exactly as you would expect from an abuser.

So they thought he was an abuser but left him with him the first time?

Apparently. Maybe they left to interview the witness to be sure it was credible.

Bottom line is, if your kid makes a statement indicating abuse it’s not optional whether or not cops get to talk to your kid. The illegal piercing charge should be thrown out though due to the ear exception.

He didn’t make a statement he was bragging to other kids. They could have easily talked to him at school or even talked to him at house by detaining dad. They didn’t have to make up charges and arrest him to force testimony.

Who says they are made up? He was obstructing justice when he wouldn’t allow them to speak to his son.

How is being held down by your drunk dad something to brag about?

No he wasn’t. They need a warrant. Hence why they didn’t arrest him for that the first time.
