Why not focus on society then … change it back to function like it did before all these horrifying acts of violence began occurring? We have always had guns, we used to have freer access to them. The malignancy is in the society, not the guns.

I don’t mind accepting the notion that society may be somewhat broken, but I can’t imagine it’s so uniquely in our country and not elsewhere in the Western world, especially when social media has us connected like in no other time in history.
