Looks like India has done some sort of military strike on terrorist bases in Pakistan believed to be the genesis of the recent terror attacks on India. It’s kind of clockwork in the subcontinent; they have had at least one war every decade since 1948.
Question is now how will Pakistan react to this.

China and India have had quite a history of frosty relations and also share a contentious border that had casualties as recently as 2020. Russia supplies both with arms so they’d probably be the best interlocutor.

Russia and the US have both greatly increased our defense budgets, we are building new plutonium nuclear pits for the first time since 1989, the Russians are building new T-80s for the first time since the 90s.

Although I’ve always wondered why the Indians keep being so friendly with the Russians considering how bad they got screwed on that aircraft carrier they bought.
Frankly we would make the best mediator, since we are friendly with both and Pakistan owes its entire military to us for the most part. Although they are one of the only countries in the world that flies F-16s alongside some Chinese designed fighters.
This wouldn’t be happening if Joe Biden was President.
