It’s a simple choice.

Vax or punishment?

It’s not unamerican or unconstituional.

What about the draft which was mandated in the Vietnam war.

Serve or punishment?

Is the draft unconstitutional also.

How many courts need to tell you otherwise before you get it?

any day now…us is becoming dictatorship…

any…day…now…

The same as the civil war threads.

Any day now there will be one…

It’s not my Nazi analogy. I’m not wearing a yellow star.

The former is certainly correct. Arab leaders do the same thing. As do many others.

Remember when people argued that to handle the pandemic that the most vulnerable be isolated and the rest of us who are healthy go about our business?

Now the unvaccinated are the most vulnerable.

Now… I don’t agree with Mr Chomsky… but now I hope that people can see the flaw in that argument in the early days of the pandemic.

Trump isn’t POTUS anymore.

What’s the flaw?

I remember calling for the sick to be isolated. From Day 1.

Face diapers!

I think it’s pretty much a no brainer for hospitals. But airlines? Think about it. If you’re on a 5 hour plus flight to California sitting next to a Covid positive person wearing a mask, are you comfortable?

Besides that, do people on airlines not not drink or eat?

I’m not boarding any flights while a mask mandate is in place. At least no flights over 2 hours. But that’s just me and my preference.

Good point.

What’s the difference between that and isolating the unvaccinated?

Yeah, fair points.

but I’m really more thinking about just having some protection against colds and regular flu. I don’t mind the masks on the flights I’ve taken. And I realize full well they aren’t fool proof, but I like having the person next to me having a mask on for regular illness as much as anything.

Austria seems to think it’s a good idea.

I saw somewhere that since the pandemic began, two common strains of influenza have died out.

I went to Callie and back. Full plane. Mask mandates in place.

No problem (except at Newark airport where we taxied an extra 15 minutes for god knows what reason)
