To think you are strong enough o fight off this virus that kills so many others…that somehow you are innately better at warding off this killer…as so many do - including the post above yours…that is hubris.

To think that your ‘freedom’ to refuse a vaccine that saves lives is more valuable than the vaccine that would save you…is that not hubris? I don’t know…I think it is…I think there has to be part of that person thinking “I’m not gonna die…I’m a freedom fighter…I won’t succumb…”

And that strikes me as hubris too.

Whatever it is, it’s an awful tragedy.

Do any of you guys actually read the CDC reports?
Not just the headlines? Read all the words in the reports?

I have not found even one report substantiated by data that people with natural immunity ( already had the virus) are at more risk than people who are vax. The only studies out there have shown the exact opposite.

Last summer when my wife and I were staying at our cabin in the Maine Woods… I became friendly with a gentleman who lived down the road a ways. I would talk to him a little as he tended to his vegetables when I was walking the dog.

His wife passed away from Covid in March 2020 because the assisted living facility where she was living had a breakout.

He told me in July 2020 that the pandemic was over and it was all politics.

It’s tough.
