That’s not exactly true. Some states have a mask mandate. Some areas in other states have a mask mandate but not an actual “state” mandate.

The only “moral mandates” that the GOP seems to be for in the last decade or two are sending our youth off to die in foreign wars any time someone dies by the hands of a terrorist. Ask them to wear a mask while they go grocery shopping, though, (as 1000s of americans die a day from a virus with no vaccine) that’s just to much of a burden to bear!
