I’m in the Kirkland area 6 months of the year now and then Brentwood Tn for the other 6 months for one more year until I move to Brentwood for good (remote). I spent 14 years of my life in the Seattle area, not an expert but I know the politics fairly well for instance the Chaz incident was completely predictable.
wish I could’ve seen the place in the 90’s from what I hear from people who lived there forever it was a totally different experience and people.
Pure nightmare fuel.

The CHAZ thing was wild. For 14 years I lived a 10 minute walk from there and moved shortly before the pandemic. Crazy seeing the streets that I pretty much knew every single brick of being broadcast on national TV everywhere.

I spent much of the summer of '62 in Seattle. We rented a house at 15th and Denny on Capitol Hill … just a few blocks north of Chaz. Seattle was a wonderful town then before the freeway cut it in half.
