Other than the fact that trying to fly off the ledge might prove fatal, what is the difference between telling a man who thinks he is the woman that he is woman, and telling the man who thinks he’s a bird that he is a bird?
The fact that a woman is a human and a bird is… uh not a human
Let’s start there.

Of course it is. Giving up on actually treating and remedying the mental disorder and instead calling acceptance of their delusion treatment is pretty much the same as not being able to treat the cancer so you bleed the patient to give them the illusion of being treated for what ails 'em.

They are both delusions seated in the brain. That’s where it starts.
Gender affirming care is a treatment. What part of that is confusing to you? Therapy is a treatment. Specific medications are a treatment.
Saying “you’re delusional snap out of it….” Is not a treatment.

Yes … in the same way bloodletting was treatment.
You must have a pretty low opinion of psychologists if you think “snap out of it” is all they have.
It’s literally impossible for a human to be a bird. So a therapist would never provide “aves affirming care”
Birds are a completely separate class from humans. My goodness
Bloodletting is still used in very rare cases today. However, the practice of bloodletting fell out of favor due to science advancing and better data collection. It simple didn’t work for most of the ailments it tried to treat.
Gender affirming care does work. If effective it reduces suicidal ideations… it reduces self harm… it reduces intrusive thoughts.
Might there be better treatments in 50 years? I hope! But until then… gender affirming care is what we got for gender dysphoria.

Well, it is literally impossible for a man to be a woman too, so once again, the only difference between giving in to either delusion seems to be the risk of death if the bird man tries to fly.

So now you’re going to delve into a discussion about the validity of bloodletting? How many cases of cancer did it cure?
It is literally impossible for a male to ever be a woman as well.

Impossible. No male will ever be a woman.

You really need to go back to school and learn to believe the science. An unborn child is human and alive. Science proves that’s a fact. Males can never be a woman. Science proves that’s a fact.
No go pedal your fairy tales to someone else.

Intersex people actually exist. How do you not know this?
Therefore if they exist… it’s not impossible.

No. No man will ever be a woman. No woman will ever be a man. Intersex is not the same thing and you know it.

Not a man and not a woman. People with gender dysphoria are NOT intersexed. Quit obfuscating.

My “affirmation” is living life normally with the sex you were born with which in turn, in part, allows them to be children.

While being prepared for adulthood. A boy needs to start learning to be a man early. Gradually… but early.
