I just asked my wife, who works at a mental health facility. She doesnt see kids, but her office does. I asked her how many kids under 16 were treated for gender dysphoria and how many took puberty blockers or had some sort of body altering surgery.

Last year they diagnosed 11 kids under 16 with gender dysphoria. That was out of about 200 total kids they saw (they specialize in gender dysphoria… so the percentages are a little biased for her office)

Of those 11… 1 kid (12) started puberty blockers. That kid was a patient for 3 years. The other 10 (youngest being 9, oldest 17) are still doing therapy. The 17 year old has been a patient for 5 years.

Over the last 5 years, none of their patients with GD under 16 had any type of surgery.

This is just a sample in an office in Santa Monica. Middle of libville, in a highly populated area.

Anecdotes? I thought anecdotes were taboo for you?

They aren’t necessarily taboo. I’m not representing that information as a macro level analysis. It is strictly an anecdote.

It’s just an example of 1 specialized facility in the middle of a highly populated area.

Anecdotes are valid when you use them?

Are you ok?

I’m not representing my wife’s experience as the entire macro level data. It’s just an example in a highly populated area.

We can bring in national numbers, if you think that helps your case? I suspect you would have already done that if it did.

I’m fine. Just trying to understand the rules. You’re pretty famous for dismissing anecdotes. Other than your own.

I have no problem using my anecdotal experience to combat yours. That’s the best time to use them… #anecdotefight

Are you going to bring out the macro level data?

Nope. I’m going to the grocery store.

lol.

In February Rock told Joe Rogan that he’d buried the hatchet with Budweiser. Of the feud, Rock said, “Man, I was just having fun, to be honest with you. I was pissed, but it wasn’t like it was going to wreck my day, let alone my life. I was just kind of like, ‘What the **** are they doing?’”

Months earlier, Rock was outraged after the company partnered with trans TikToker Dylan Mulvaney as part of their March Madness campaign. He also told Rogan that he and Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth partied together in the time that followed.

“We’ve become friends. He’s a great guy. After five minutes of talking to him, I’m like, ‘Dude, you seem like somebody I’d *******’ be friends with, that I’d hang out with.’ And he’s like, ‘You would, that’s what I’m saying.’ And I’m like, ‘Well, come to Nashville, come visit me.’ *******’ did!”

Filter by passes. And you know better.

Only indoctrination you approve of is allowed

Uh, huh…the one that coincides with the genital they were born with…so weird to a lib…amirite?

I don’t want it in elementary schools either. I don’t want your nonsense about affirmation either. Let them be kids.

So if someone identifies as a bird you are going to tell them to jump off the ledge and fly instead of treating their delusion and convincing them that they can’t fly?

The current accepted medical method is akin to bloodletting to cure cancer.

Well that could end their life. A therapist would never suggest treatment that ends (or has a high probability to end) their patients life.

Goal of therapy is to save their life.

And they don’t even support his made up stat.

Not it’s not. The first and often only step is therapy. In extenuating circumstances… puberty blockers and or transition is a good step for the patient. But no good therapist/psychologist would ever start at “hey you need to cut off your balls and take estrogen”
