That article title is completely dishonest. They did not “smear conservatives as fascists”.
They sang “All you fascists gonna lose”, not “all you conservatives are fascists”.
To the extent there are fascists in this country, even one, who voted who were they most likely to have voted for?
Of course they are trying to imply a nonsensical label to republican Trump supporters (including Trump himself) out of ignorance.
And who is David Ng? A former LA Times reporter who found conservatism and jumped to Brietbart? Or a run of the mill ■■■■ stirrer for profit using the Outrage Machine to crank out paper and maintain The Great Divide?
That song was written by Woodie Guthrie in 1942. It is an old time protest song and there is absolutely nothing wrong with them singing it.
Calling Trump supporters “fascists” is no more smearing conservatives than you calling progressives “communists”.
You © might as well be calling each other “aardvarks” and “zebras”, makes about as much sense.

I would question anyone who doesn’t. Fascists are responsible for a lot of death and misery. Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Mao. Just a few examples.
They view Trump based on their own experiences in life and their own self interest. From their perspective, he is a fascist.
Maybe they aren’t all looters, but they support looters.
From their own ignorance. A real fascist would make them wet themselves.
