Anglophilia - Why?

I did say things and not people, so that’s no great surprise.

We have a few Americans over here but I guess we’re seen as a bit of a backwater, not the main show as the US is.

I noticed this uptick of English commentators.

I don’t mind hearing outside views of American politics…as long as they keep things in proper perspective.

I don’t shoot things much.

You have American political analysts living there and all over your tvs? Americans with their own shows on culture?

Can you give an example please? I’d like to see that.

There’s still time.

How would you know?

Oh look. Irony.

Is murdoch an America these days? He still has massive influence in the UK.

Hard to think of any Americans who have their own political TV show, but we don’t really do the whole politics as entertainment thing like you do.

There are a few America commentators that appear on the news from time to time.

And a Canadian is governor of the bank of England.

I could post a picture of James Corden dressed like a cat singing with Paula Abdul.

No, he’s a US citizen, not American.

Can you give me a name please? Are they commenting on english things or American things?

Personal collection?

That’s not the irony.

Ben Shapiro was on earlier in the year, quite memorably.

I’m afraid i can’t recall the names of anyone else, so you might be right it isn’t as common as I first thought.

Ah so. Thanks. Was he talking about england or America?

I have the news on about the London Bridge event. Englishmen all over the news. Makes perfect sense.

What doesn’t is Piers Morgan in the 2nd Amendment.

I think there is some perception that accent is indicative of “more civilized” or “intelligent”.

What’s with this boomer nonsense.

Which is the boomer here…and which is snot nose millennial?

Do you? Ok millennial.

I think he was talking about abortion, if memory serves.

Piers Morgan is a contrarian ■■■■■, understand that and he makes a degree of sense.
