And they did it WITHOUT the department of education!

Louisiana puts in less than they get back.

This has been cycled already a couple of times in this thread. (And others.) The response is that some states get back more than gets collected from those states.

The upshot, therefore, is that it’s just another virtual welfare program.

Thus it should be called a welfare department, not education department.

There’s absolutely nothing in or about the DOE that looks at education in any sort of practical way, the reasons for all the ways it failing or how to improve it. Just another department of welfare via the federal government to send money to those who kiss the ring.

Don’t worry, they can probably name all the “genders” and know the right are facists.

That’s all that matters.

Agreed.
I too often think those tests are incomplete.
To complete the tests the interviewer should keep asking other types of questions (including about capitalism, US history, race, # of genders) to show that the school really are teaching SOME things.

It’s not that the schools aren’t teaching,
and it’s not the kids today are bioligically dumber than kids before.

Honestly, I doubt they could answer many questions. Ive seen many of those questions asked in other videos and they all sound just as ignorant. Just MHO.

Why?

They don’t generate very much revenue compared to Their needs

Aka welfare state.

Why does centgov give it to them?

It gets me that the post WWII economic and technical boom was based largely on the engineers and scientists who went to poor depression era small town schools where they had a desk, chalkboard and radiator for heat. Now we think pouring more and more money is the solution.

They didn’t come from a consumer mindset either.

Great points.

It costs more than educating citizens. They have to hire ESL teachers. The feds spend $20,000 for every U.S. citizen. L.A. schools nearly double that. Appalling and inept.

It is estimated that Chinese fourth graders and Singapore’s third graders are performing at the educational levels of US 8th graders.
Until that changes to educate US students so that they can compete in an ever changing fast moving world? No amount of money or whiz bang educational “concepts” so called “educator experts” throw at those hard facts will make a difference. It seems the more taxpayers money that gets spent on “educating”, the dumber US students get.

China and Singapore teach the basics instead of LIB DEI type subjects. Money isn’t the issue. The issue is LIB domination of our education system.
