Ancient Chinese goat cheese

just think how long it would be preserved if they put chemical preservatives like we do now… I’ll bet in 10,000 years (if humans make it that far) “modern” remains will be even more pristine…

Dont do it mate. Ancient world is @SixFoot domain. Just like @travisg is movies.

Last time I stepped on @travisg movie shoes he sent the boys round who gave me a “gentle” talking to. I dread to think what Sixy would do……

Harder to prove you wrong when there are no written records, right?

Send that cheese to the LA Beast so he can eat it.

Don’t need written records to prove that humans had sophisticated masonry practices before they allegedly invented modern agriculture, but “written records” can be a bit more subjective. Funny thing is that 40,000 years ago, one might have to ask which species of humans was writing on the walls.

Neanderthals?

Maybe. If someone had written language that long ago, either the records themselves are lost, or people forgot the writing system itself.

Life isn’t as linear as the books would have you think. Knowledge and tech get lost and reinvented.

Anywho, I’m more interested in slightly ancient Chinese mummies today. This isn’t my thread to derail. lol
