Put everybody under the jail!!

This is the bigger issue. The bold part. Introducing the law is not a bad thing. Introducing a law to overturn something that’s been used once in 25 years is beyond stupid.

If you intentionally murder someone and not in the act of self defense, I have no problem with that. Say bye Felicia.

If you premeditate sure but even there age should be a factor. If you are a gang banger and a teenager i don’t know.

We do a lot of things to protect our young. May be we should do more.

I think the difference might be the randomness of the victims in a drive by (besides the target individuals) compared of walking up and shooting them.

But none of us, including you, knew they would enact those laws when we voted for them (if indeed we did vote for the ones who did.) Voting is a crap shoot when it comes to enacting new legislation. Or better put, voting is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.

Not really. In our history? Sure. Right now? We can be pretty sure of what we’re gonna get.

With that in mind, those getting heartburn from Manchin haven’t been paying attention.

Sinema campaigned WAY differently than she is legislating.

The point: in the current climate, exceptions prove the rule.

So what are you saying? That everyone should vote for the person who’s promises sound the most counter to your opinion because they are all more likely to actually do the opposite of what they promise? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Oh. No. I am saying that when I vote for a Democrat, I am not surprised by how they proceed.

Sinema is an outlier.

Wallgreen’s isn’t vacating the city. There are still about 50 Wallgreens here.

Just a normal year?

“We are in a crisis and we need to respond accordingly,” Mayor London Breed said at a press conference.

Well then…goody, goody…with your low standards…it’s all good. :sunglasses: :tumbler_glass: :+1:

Low standards? How many Walgreens do we need to meet your high standards?

Depends on how far away the closest store is from where you live. A couple of blocks walk just turned into all day bus rides for some folks. But that probably doesn’t impact your neighborhood store.

Um, no? The city isn’t that big, you can take public transit across the city in about 2-3 hours. I’d estimate from any point in the city there is a Walgreens within a 1 hour bus ride, most likely shorter. It does suck, but its far from “vacating the city”.

Wow! Only an hour bus ride instead of a two block walk. Why that’s no inconvenience at all. :smirk:

That work for polling places too?

If one Walgreens or any business leaves for the reason it did and this is your response, that is a low standard in my opinion?

Narrative first it must be.
