The group of eight robbers stole hammers, crowbars and other tools, swiping about $400 worth of merchandise. Such tools have been used in other smash-and-grab robberies in the state, including in a Nordstrom in Walnut Creek, California, last week.
Ahhhhhhhhh…it’s only $400 worth. That’s of no concern in California.

Defund police. In Dallas, as many major Dem controlled cities, the DA won’t prosecute theft under a certain dollar amount but if you tried to stop the theft you might be charged as a vigilante. Since the DA won’t charge, the police won’t get involved. A neighbor recently traced their iPad using the “find” function to an apartment but the police would do nothing.
Is it surprising that this sends a message to looters (oops, you’re not supposed to say “looter” now. It’s racist).

When they close that will be labeled modern redlining, thus proving CRT is right and capitalism is racist.

Okie which part is dishonest. The three people who were arrested recently for a Nordstrom smash and grab what were they charged with.
This isn’t hard

Our neighborhood blogs are filled with images of “porch pirates”.
Yep and those doing this crap also knows that so they keep what they steal under that amount.
So, as a result they aren’t getting nailed for grand larceny.

The part you said people were conflating stuff. It is not hard. You know they don’t arrest them under a certain amount you admitted to it. You tried to covers libs policies by “see they arrested someone” knowing full well why they arrested them and not others. Pure intentional dishonesty.

There is a difference between petit larceny and grand larceny.
You guys are conflating the sf decision with the rest of the state.
