Another rash of smash and grabs last night in LA. Seems the rule of law is breaking down in the major cities. The politicians who are paid vast sums in taxes to protect people and property are failing. They have no solutions as they led us down this road by undermining the police. Will this trend get worse?

I’m sure it was only an “accident” or a “mostly peaceful” shopping spree. :sunglasses: :tumbler_glass:

When those in power decide not prosecute shoplifting then this is the result.

Elected AGs all around the country had their campaigns financed by George Soros for this exact purpose. Kimm Fox in Chicago, Chesa Boudin in San Fran…

Businesses are starting to hire private security along with paying massive taxes. But what good will that do? They will just be attacked by politicians if they hurt anyone. So, they can only close locations. Which will bring on the phrase " Shopping deserts" I Bet… And capitalism will be blamed not the people undermining the rule of law at city hall.

I don’t see how they will be able to keep businesses open in these communities?

No worries, Amazon will deliver. And the unprecedented wealth transfer from poor to Bezos and friends marches on.

Businesses are closing their stores.

Then a few months later;

They probably won’t be able too. And thus the poor will suffer. Which seems to be the plan or their leaders are just really stupid. The sad part is I don’t think we have democracy in cities like LA and the voters can’t kick out the corrupt leaders, if they wanted too.

…and thus Kyle Rittenhouse is born as a direct result, then what happened and how did the MSM react?

Some fun conflation going on in these threads. The smash and grab jobs in la are being prosecuted as grand larceny not shop lifting

Soros!!!

That’s good. If there’s no businesses in those communities then they can’t shoplift.

Considering the area, perhaps that is just a slap on the hand. Any idea what the actual sentences are if convicted?

Anything over 950 bucks upto 3 years in jail.

Cali penal code

Are you defending the state response to what’s going on out there?

What’s the states response?

Benign neglect?
Inadequate?
Political?

Then no.

Do you agree with $950?

It’s arbitrary.
