Interesting. Is that a criteria for selecting a SCOTUS justice?
Not much out there. She’s a Trump appointee and was part of Perry’s administration. Federalist type. It’s enough for me considering her votes will not be Ginsburgs and whether I’d agree or not will actually be based on the Constitution.
Sounds like a gamble. Better to go with someone with more track record.
anybody would be an improvement over Ginsburg. That’s not a huge recommendation.
Nope. Just smart politics in this time of racial discord.
not criticizing her, commenting on her judicial ideology.
meh, good bet it’ll be an improvement. i don’t require perfection (enemy of the good)
You could have phrased your support without diminishing the dead woman. JMO Too soon for me

He didn’t diminish her. Stop.
i did nothing to diminish her.
also, let me add, I believe trump will nominate barret, which i believe is not his best move.
brown
lagoa
grant
barret
in that order for me. admittedly, its political. acceptable is good enough, the election matters more now. if trump loses, and we lose the senate, too many potential conservatives may be replaced in the next 4 years to not consider the election implications.
politically, brown is the best choice, followed by the others
I have no intention of pushing my opinion further on the topic. I could have phrase my opinion without diminishing @Ben_Natuf . My apologies to Ben.
i don’t feel diminished.
its all good brother, i didn’t take anything in any way other than in the most positive light

Its almost certainly gonna be Barrett. She’s the FedSoc darling.
Unless Trump decides to go the clown shoes route and nominate Cruz or someone like that.
brown is a member of the society.
Undoubtably. So are hundreds of thousands of law students.
There is a difference between being a FedSoc member, and a FedSoc rising star.
