From what I read, he is apologizing for a perception he feels he created because he was criticized for it.

I can see that. And I can see how the Trump team would be tone deaf to it.

Yeah, they started that ■■■■ during the GWOT for some reason. In my day, that wouldn’t have happened.

Probably laziness. POGs want to look like soldiers maybe.

They are not waiting till he’s out of the office, it seems :man_shrugging:

You have troops attacking American Citizens, right afterward he strolls down the same area with the President so the President can have a photo op with an upside down borrowed Bible.

Logically, folks are going to assume the crowd was cleared so that the President could have his photo taken. Him walking alongside the President implies he helped this happen.

These aren’t wild conspiracy theories, just what you see in the photos and simple reasoning.

They tear gassed a 9 year old boy, they tear gassed the clergy of the church they wind up posing in front of. He never even asked the church clergy to meet him or to organize some sort of prayer inside. He just wanted to pose outside.

Sneaky, we both know Posse Comitatus. This was a violation of it, the Insurrection Act wasn’t evoked nor requested. This is a very bad thing.

He was politically virtue signalling with his stupid supposed non political statement, he needs to be fired. I’m sick of these useless peace time top ranking political military hacks and you can bet the rank and file boots on the ground troops support the President.

And the headline is a lie as there was no force used, they were asked to disperse because of curfew.

Emm…he served in Iraq and Afghanistan and has been awarded 16 service medals.

Weak and cowardly, IMO. His weakness emphasizes the President’s strength.

Milley is a decorated war Veteran who has led Infantry, Special Forces and Ranger troops in combat. He is correct that he shouldn’t have been there.

There was force used, I provided the link earlier in the post.

The curfew wasn’t up yet, Barr seemingly said it had nothing to do with the curfew but because they wanted to put that fence up and they were going to do it earlier in the day, around 2pm. It just so happened that they wound up doing it just in time for Trump to walk to the church, literally a few minutes before.

Which is all a lie.

Extraordinary.

Trump is incredibly strong, which is why he can walk so well despite his horrible bone spurs.

No one can inspect a bunker as strongly as he can.

You were there with him in the doctors office. How cozy.

My mom had bone spurs, they are nothing to joke about.

No one has ever claimed he was in the doctor’s office for his “diagnosis”.

He got 5 deferrals for them during Vietnam. They had to be pretty bad in order for him not to serve the country he loves. And bear in mind, bone spurs only get worse as you get older and heavier and that was 50 years ago.

They have to be talons length at the present, I wonder how he can even get his shoes on. According to his medical history he provided he never had surgery on them, it is a wonder he can walk at all.

Oh, I know. They can be crippling. Horrible affliction.

The fact that Trump has this and still can walk as well as he does, heck he even golfs a lot, shows his fortitude and bravery.

Not as much as you think.

Half of active-duty military personnel contacted in the poll held an unfavorable view of President Trump, showing a continued decline in his approval rating since he was elected in 2016.

 restoring order.

No, it wasn’t. I’d love to hear why you think it was though.
