The northern and southern borders are completely different in that regard.

Start with the violent crime rates of both Mexico and Canada and perhaps you’ll understand why they are a bit more intensive in monitoring our southern border.

Add then the numbers of illegals crossing both borders.

Add then the caravans of thousands overwhelming our southern border.

Then add to the fact a whole lot of these people appear to be being coached on how to make a successful, though fraudulent claim of asylum to at least get past the first hearing.

Add then the fact that unless you’re a convicted felon, multiple deportee etc and you cross the border with children and you’re pretty well here to stay in the vast majority of cases.

Add all of those things together and see if perhaps you can can understand why crossing the southern border to get back into the US is a bit more controlled than reentry from the norther border.

People are gathering at our southern border. These people are requesting asylum and in need of medical attention. They are gathering at points of entry. Are you suggesting we build more walls to provide these asylum seekers more points of entry to present themselves for asylum?

It looks pretty clear to me that the plan to ruin America is by flooding us with illegal immigrants that have no interest in personal liberty and freedom.

There will come a day when we rue opposition to border security and the progressives will weep the loudest.
