LA to SF would be far more valuable for the commuter crowd but it’s definitely harder to accomplish.

The train to Vegas is mostly for pleasure.

issue with commuter routes is you need to keep fairs low which is why government is funding large chunk of it so they can keep prices low.

the investment is long term.

So fix it. Isn’t that what Biden’s bill will do?

There ya go. Make the casinos pay for it.

Are you sure?

Are you sure? Is this an opinion? Or do you have some facts?

Everything you listed is the reason why leftist will be in the minority after midterms. Average votes did not like crazy and they did not not letting both sides have a voice.

That’s funny…the majority of Americans support both of the issues I posted. Keep pretending otherwise though. I’m sure it will work out great for the GOP.

SS is not the governments money. The government took that money from me and was suppose to save it for me. Instead they spent my money on junk without asking me if the could use my money. Also if they would have let me keep my money I would have doubled what they are going to give back to me.
Your big gotcha is one big dud.

Maybe families need to step up to the plate and take care of their own family members.

Well once you realize that all they mean by “the government shouldn’t do this” is “the government should pay a private firm ten times what it would normally cost” it all falls into place.

No, it is not for just you. It is an insurance policy, to keep one alive if they screw up and end up with zero savings for retirement…or if one catches a bunch of bad breaks, and has zero savings.

It also helps millions of those with disabilities, who cannot work and/or earn enough to live on.

All of us help them That is a good thing…right?

Many cannot.

And churches can’t handle the need.

So, we either help, or let those people suffer.

I believe the rest of us should help.

The part you don’t get has nothing to do with who can use it.

Yes. Both programs are paying out more than they bring in.

It’s an opinion, one shared by most economists.

Not factual.

Unsustainable outlay. The systems will run out of money in the relatively near future if pay in rates are not increased.

Based on what? Feelings?

After predicting trump and gop big victories in November, you guys have no credibility left. Dems will continue to succeed in mid term.
