White democrat Presidents don’t get that either.

Clinton got 39% of the white vote in 1992.

Gore got 42% in 2000.

Obama got 43% in 2008.

You beat me to it. I would have lost that bet.

Biden got 42%.

Clinton in 1996 got 44%

Gore got more of the black vote than Clinton, too.

You’ll note I listed the candidates, not the incumbents. People are voting mostly on policy/performance at the point of reelection.

Oops. Like I said during the Obama Presidency when the left accused us of not liking him because he was black, sure, sure, I miss the good old days when Republicans loved Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, because they were white.

Well you wouldn’t know otherwise. Every President before Obama was white.

Racism!!!

But why does that matter?

Maybe they were opposed to his ideology?

I was proud of the country when he was elected. I was also disappointed because I knew he was a generic establishment type.

He did provide me with all the war I could ever want, so I’ve always been thankful for him regarding that.

Yes, I am pretty sure I know if Republicans were fond of either Clinton or Carter absent any black man becoming President.

Clinton was first Black president.

I certainly was, but I’m also the 2% who didn’t vote for either of the two in 2008.

Follow the conversation to understand my post.

Maybe. My point still stands. Since every President was white before Obama… all you had was policy/moral differences. “Electing him because he is white” was never brought up.

If you want to point racial preference fingers, remind me what percentage of black people voted for Obama again?

Within the margin of error of every other democrat?

83% for Clinton

90% for Gore

95% for Obama
