No there wasn’t. As I have shown, both terms are still in use.

I don’t walk around calling them anything.

“Black”? Wasn’t there a human nature change to “African-American”? “Black” is inaccurate and exclusive. As is “African-American”.

The “change” wasn’t a change, it was a demand placed solely on white people. As we can see, both colored and negro are still acceptable.

I have no problem accepting that particular tantrum, until I do.

Changing the name every now and then is a futile and meaningless gesture. It will not change the nature of a single person who hates your race. Or mine.

It’s akin to me demanding to be called white instead of Caucasoid or “Scots-American”. Useless. I’ve never been to Scotland.
