Amazon will be better off in VA or eastern PA anyway.

I grew up in Pittsburgh.
It felt bad laughing at how much people in my hometown believed they were in the running but yes in the end the airport and low RE costs were never going to overcome the city’s other shortcomings.
Although…Amazon’s top NA boss, Jeff Wilke, is a former high school classmate of mine…

I don’t know how much influence she had however she certainly wasn’t the leader. To call her a leader is once again prop her up into something she is not with the sole intention of using socialistic view point to paint all libs as socialists.

As I said I remain conflicted about this. No doubt Amazon would have pumped money into the economy by way of jobs etc but they wanted at a huge cost and they dont have the best track record when it comes to working conditions pay etc.

Yeah… I personally had problems with the deal that the State and Local Government would remain neutral if the employees wanted to unionize.
When there are Amazon employees in Staten Island right now trying to organize labor this is a pretty terrible position for the politicians to take.
