Altair's critical race theory

And the school is a building.

You must be joking.

But the liberal teachers are very real.

So is a school building :smirk:

Liberal teachers lead by example. The school building is an inanimate object.

I wonder what they think about Hindu, Buddhist or Islam ā€œteachingsā€.

So do preachers, parochial school teachers, home schooling parents, and of course Sunday school teachers.

If you really think that the Bible wasn’t misused or used whatever to push conservative values to children then you have slept through the past 40 years.

If only there were more conservative teachers. That is the issue. Very few conservatives in education, the media and in entertainment.

Yes more conservatives should go into education

So you agree that LIBs dominate our education sytem?

Yes of course i do

I don’t agree about the indoctrination though

So you don’t think the Liberal values of those teachers might rub off on the impressionable young in their classrooms?

Thank you for agreeing

Rub off is not the same as an intentional act of indoctrination.

It would seem this is the issue. I’ve been to church. A lot. Including Sunday School. Some deep redneck preachers.

Never heard one of them say anything about guns while preaching or teaching. I have heard a couple of them talk about homosexuality and abortion, as sins, out of the Bible. Not in Sunday school. And not hate the sinner. Not turn your homosexual child out of your house.

One of the issues with religion and politics is that they are both entirely emotion (faith) based. We do not use ā€œlogicā€ when making most of our decisions; and never with religion and politics.

Are there people who take a teaching and run it off a cliff? Sure.

The simple logistics of the comparison favors the progressive agenda.

A dedicated Sunday school goer gets an hour on Sunday morning, then an hour sermon - 2 hours.

Wednesday night prayer meeting another hour, that’s 3.

Maybe Sunday night service - 4

Four hours a week.

School starts at 8. Ends at 3:30. 7.5 hours less .5 for lunch. 5 days a week. That’s 35 hours a week. For 16 years. Of the most formative years. Without parental supervision. 12 of which are mandated by the government. Which is not going to teach them how to beat it.

They aren’t ā€œliberalā€ values.

 Even if you hold the sandpaper still and rub the wood against it, it’s sanding.

I went to school here from grade 6-12 and then college.

I had once class, one in college where the professor went a bit off the rails.

That’s my data

Again i don’t disagree that teachers tend to be libs or whatever you want to call

Overall, there is no intentional indoctrination happening in school.

Okie dokie

I went before you did and had none. My son went after you did and had a lot. Trend.

Location too. I have friends with kids in school. The kids aren’t coming back home flaming libs.
