Allen Weisselberg, longtime Chief Financial Officer of the Trump Organization, has been granted immunity by federal prosecutors for agreeing to provide information into the investigation of hush money payments arranged by Michael Cohen on Donald Trump’s behalf. This news comes the day after Trump remarked that flipping “almost ought to be illegal”.
