All Federal Grants and Loans Paused, Under Review

…and people will be jumping off bridges with no suicide HOTLINE.

Uncle sugar pausing the cash flow will obviously lead to mass suicide, starvation and the sun failing to rise.

Well sure, lefties love throwing money around like it’s theirs, so when the flow slows, they have to be upset about something. Ref: Student Loan Forgiveness

WHY is Congress in all of this?

WHY does the fedgov take so much money, only to “give it back” with conditions attached?

Maybe this is a wakeup call to the entire nation to ask why, whatever program of yours that is impacted by a TEMPORARY halt in funding, gets funded by the fedgov in the first place.

Maybe it SHOULD be funded by the fedgov, and this temporary halt can help us understand that. But maybe it shouldn’t. (And most likely it should not, in the long run.)

At the very least, if a program director is panicked about its latch to the govt teat, show that the program isn’t a tranny nest, and mama treasury will uncover her nipple for you.

I saw a meme this morning that was something like, “Trump supporters don’t measure his success by what he can do for them. They measure his success by what harm he can cause others.”

Because they appropriate the funding?

As I said, go ahead a review everything to your hearts content. Make recommendations and cut funding you don’t agree with. So is the purview of an administration in power. But there is no need to put critical grant and loan funding in jeopardy during the review process. As my grammy would say, “Don’t cut your nose off to spite your face.”

It is not just “others” It is a way to burn libz and dems. " That will teach 'em!"

It would be nice if the president of the United States could word his executive orders better. Don’t blame the bureaucrats when this gets embarrassing for him.

Who appropriates funding for the Federasl Student Loan Program?

I work in research and it’s amazing how many grants are just repeated experiments they have done over and over. It’s like fusion always being 30 years away.

They professors and centers get millions and produce little. Mostly political research like climate change or obesity. It’s sad that working people have to fund these gravy trains, so this is great…

I can’t think of a “critical grant” at our university! Perhaps someone else can…

Yes. By all means lets stress something that MIGHT or MIGHT NOT happen.

Benefits are frozen. It will happen by end of day if it isn’t unfrozen.

DEI programs can be reviewed and cancelled without pausing SNAP benefits. Why this administration can’t or won’t do that, I’m not sure.

This would be a good opportunity for people who receive assistance from the government to exercise a little self examination to determine if finding a job might be a better option for them to meet their needs. I hear there’s going to be a huge need for vegetable pickers and bus boys real soon…

Yes, right. Send those poor mothers to the fields. And since they don’t have childcare, maybe their kids can pick crops as well.
