The Alabama House actually passed a lottery bill!!!
Not sure if it will pass the Senate or not.
Maybe Alabama is finally tired of seeing their citizen’s lottery money being spent in Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi or Florida.
you know, if they had passed this law 50 years ago, Forrest Gump probably would have won it as well (instead of merely relying on his Apple stock and shrimp fishing empire…)

Just curious, what’s stopping someone from Alabama from downloading a gambling app?
Nothing.
But that just represents more potential tax revenue leaving Alabama for other States.
