Voicing anonymous internet opinions is a measure of manliness? Lol… we ARE in Trump’s new America now.

My opinion is this: I don’t agree with Trump on bumpstocks.

But that doesn’t matter; he banned them out of pure political expediency. The fact it elicits such an emotional response from folks here definitely suggests that they don’t agree with him either.

Oh. Feeeellinggss.

No. I am not ignoring that. Just as with bumpstocks HE thought it would benefit him. Guy can’t tell the truth to save his life and does things with only his benefit in mind, so I don’t trust him as much with my 2nd A rights as you do, apparently.

Does it feel strange to type out that Trump is equal to or lesser than a man who Trump supporters widely consider the worst president in our country’s history?

Obama talked tough on guns before he won, but he only passed 2 gun laws and both expanded gun rights. Biden can’t pass restrictions on guns because the issue is unpopular. So his gun control campaign promises are as laughable as candidate Trump’s promises like Mexico will pay for the Wall, lock Hillary up, drain the swamp, eliminate the debt, and restore America’s standing in the world. It’s just boob bait for the bubbas. President Trump can’t do those things. Biden can’t take your guns. It’s just words to keep the liberal base involved. Unless there is a majority of voters who want gun control any Executive Orders will be reversed by the next administration as many of Obama’s EO were when President Trump was elected. The United States does not have enough soldiers to take away our millions and millions of guns. Your gun rights are protected.

I always find that funny too.

Me: President Trump did this bad thing.

Trumper: The Kenyan President did that same bad thing.

Me: How in heckfire does that justify what President Trump did? I didn’t like it when Obama did it.

Sure. Feelings. Empathy.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: Good one!

If you want to ban AR-15 gotta pass a constitutional amendment,

Democrat would have a better time by prompting gun safety, it would save more lives.

No. Just Feeeelingggsss.

One of the laws allows gun owners to carry weapons in national parks; that law took effect in February 2012 and replaced President Ronald Reagan’s policy that required guns to be locked in glove compartments of trunks of cars that enter national parks.

Another gun law signed by Obama allows Amtrak passengers to carry guns in checked baggage, a move that reversed a measure put in place after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Here is the link again for you.

It is a continual conundrum that has resulted in severe stifling of critical thought on most political subjects.

Sure. Empathy. Frustration. Feelings.

I read it, did you?

I read and comprehend it

Do you? Do you really?

Yes I do.

More evasiveness. Can’t you ever just respond to the question?

How do you know he thought it would benefit him? But I ask again … do you think it benefited him politically?

Why don’t you ask him yourself? He already Tweeted about this in 2018. Here’s what he said:

“Obama Administration legalized bump stocks. BAD IDEA. As I promised, today the Department of Justice will issue the rule banning BUMP STOCKS with a mandated comment period. We will BAN all devices that turn legal weapons into illegal machine guns.”

Sounds like he thought that a ban would benefit him politically. Sound that way to you? See, I use a man’s words to answer questions about him. That is the only evidence we have. It is just too bad for ardent Trump supporters that he doesn’t really have any true stance on anything other than what is good for him.

Now, did it benefit him politically? I would say that people who failingly support him will continue to do so, even if it means they lose rights as a result. So, yeah, it benefited him, but not in the way you might think.
