African American Employment Trump vs Obama

Aside from the N-word stuff at the beginning of this video, Sarah Sanders claims that Trump has created more jobs for African Americans in 1.5 years than Obama did in 8 years.

She claims that there were only 195,000 jobs created for African Americans during the 8 Obama years.

Where does she get this figure?

When I go to the BLS site, it appears to me that employment of African Americans increased by well over two million during the 8 years that Obama was in office. What am I missing?

Sarah lying from the podium? Say it isn’t so.

That Trump inherited a pretty healthy and robust economy from his predecessor while Obama did not?

I am neither an economist nor statistician, but to my untrained eye…dare I say…it appears that there is a trend starting in early 2011 and continuing to today.

“White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders falsely claimed that President Donald Trump has created three times as many jobs for black workers as his predecessor Barack Obama did during his entire time in office.

Sanders asserted at a White House press briefing Tuesday that Trump had tripled Obama’s eight-year job creation record in just 18 months, quoting numbers that are not even close to accurate.

“This president since he took office, in the year and a half that he’s been here has created 700,000 new jobs for African-Americans,” Sanders told reporters Tuesday. “That’s 700,000 African-Americans that are working now that weren’t working when this president took place. When President Obama left, after eight years in office, he had only created 195,000 jobs for African-Americans.”

The claim isn’t true, according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, and Sanders backtracked hours later in a tweet. While the U.S. economy has added about 700,000 jobs held by black workers since Trump took office, it added about 3 million while Obama was in office, according to BLS data.”

Next to the free and open exchange of ideas, the thing that libs fear the most is a successful black man. A successful man does not need a liberal politician for his next meal, next car, next job.

It seems like Trump fears the successful black man that preceded him in office. Why else would his spokesperson deny reality?

You mean like Barack Obama?

Good of you to pick a recent reference, it’s almost this century.

I picked the most powerful black man in the country.

Debatable.

195000 jobs sounds WAY too low. We were hearing those numbers monthly or quarterly.

Why would they fear that?

Hmmm. That is very possible.

If you had not cut off my post, you would have seen the answer to your question.

That was no explanation. It was a smattering. Lay it out better.

What has that got to do with the fact that Obama added more jobs for black people than Trump has?
