The SCOTUS didn’t MAKE it a right. They said it was a right that was already there.

I agree.

What SCOTUS addressed was a law that made something illegal that people should be able to do. That law made it a jailable offense for certain spouses to be spouses. It was more than denying state recognition and benefits to that union. It was flat-out jailing them for being together.

People should have that right of association. Rights are (or should be) about what we DO.

The mischaracterization in contemporary rights discussion is the notion that rights also apply to “gettiing”.

I contend that no right should require some other entity to give.

Parents sacrificed nineteen kids in Uvalde to the unfettered right to keep and bear arms.

No they didn’t.

Number of firearms owned has gone up, but number of households having guns has gone down.

Ie the rate of firearms ownership (access) has gone down.

The problem is the kids you guys have been raising for the last 2 generations.

Publious claims we sacrificed 19 kids in Uvalde to keep and bear arms.

Wonder how he feels about the 62 million unborn children that were sacrificed because of Roe and mostly with the approval of the left?
