Why? Trump is the greatest actor in the world. Look what he did for the NBC ratings.
Hell they were going to give him a raise. But they thought he was not doing enough to gain publicity for the show. So he told them, “you want publicity, I will run for POTUS and you will get your publicity”.
And so many Americans applauded his performance and check marked his box.
The greatest act in the world.
And Trump will continue to blame the Governors. And many of the Republican Governors are now blaming the Mayors. And Trump’s numbers will continue to drop. And he isn’t smart enough to see that this is a opportunity and do something.

Well he knows how to make money. But I really don’t think he knows how to make a president.

I thought we were here for discussion. You regularly lose track of conversations and reply as if you aren’t sure which post you’re replying to. This would help. Or don’t. I don’t care. But the feature is there for a reason. To make discussions flow more seamlessly.
Undefeated in general elections.

Looks like polls are going to have the be unskewed towards the Democrats now. More people are identifying as Democrat/Lean Democrat and fewer as Republican/Lean Republican.
Since January, Americans’ party preferences have shifted dramatically in the Democratic Party’s direction. What had been a two-percentage-point Republican advantage in U.S. party identification and leaning has become an 11-point Democratic advantage, with more of that movement reflecting a loss in Republican identification and leaning (down eight points) than a gain in Democratic identification and leaning (up five points).

A 10% loss in just the last month alone. The GOP is bleeding out right now because of the failures regarding COVID. And now with their gamble of sending kids back to school here in a few weeks, this thing is likely to accelerate beyond reach for them. I just don’t see what the ROI is on their insistence of sending all kids back to physical class like nothing is happening right now.
RNCTRUMP is sinking. Holes everywhere.

Other than a slight edge on handling the economy** (which is going to get worse), can anybody find any good news for the President in the Quinnipiac poll released yesterday?

- On handling a crisis, Biden leads 57 – 38 percent
- On handling health care, Biden leads 58 – 35 percent
- On the coronavirus response, Biden leads 59 – 35 percent
- On addressing racial inequality, Biden leads 62 – 30 percent
- Trump honest: 31 percent say “yes;” 66 percent say “no”
- Biden honest: 46 percent say “yes;” 42 percent say “no”
- On handling the military, voters give the president a negative 41 – 51 percent approval
- On handling foreign policy, voters give the president a negative 37 – 59 percent approval
- On handling health care, voters give the president a negative 35 – 59 percent approval
- On handling race relations, voters give the president a negative 31 – 65 percent approval
- A negative 35 – 62 percent approval rating for his handling of the coronavirus response
- 62 – 31 percent say they think President Trump is hurting rather than helping efforts to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
- 67 – 30 percent say they do not trust the information President Trump is providing about the coronavirus
- 65 – 26 percent say they trust the information Dr. Anthony Fauci is providing about the coronavirus
- 61 – 29 percent, that they disapprove of the way Donald Trump is handling the re-opening of schools
- 71 – 26 percent, think everyone should be required to wear face masks in public

** Even with regards to handling the economy the trend is moving towards Biden

The change in seniors has to be one of the most unsettling parts of this. Trump won seniors by 9pts in 2016.
And you guys say you don’t believe conspiracy theories?!!! But you believe these polls. The only way these polls will come true is if Dems pile in with illegal votes.
I’m not here to make your life easier and you are making things up again.
It isn’t “The GOP” that has failed, it’s primarily democrat governors and mayors.
Now I wonder what would affect people’s perceptions. Where do they get their news?

The same places they were getting it in 2016.
Polls aren’t conspiracy. Some of the polls on RCP are sanctioned by Fox News or OAN
Piss poor dodge. How about a straight answer?
“Paid for by” would be much closer. Those news organizations aren’t conducting their own polls, they pay polling org’s to do them.
Paid for by then. Or sponsored, if you like. Why would these patriotic news outlets pay someone for conspiracy polling ?
