Absolutely no consequences, ever

From “Fake News”, to blaming it on his wife, to felon. Nice little encapsulation of the GOP.

Lots of government is held accountable. Look at the dozens or convictions of both Reagan and Nixon administration officials for crimes committed in office and the hundreds of resignations in disgrace of both of those admins.

A lot of these things were investigated and determined that no crimes were committed.

Others resulted in lots of arrests, like Iran/Contra, which made a felon of Ollie North and several others.

It’s interesting that you bring that up.

The records Clinton deleted were under Congressional subpoena, not judicial subpoena.

I’m pretty sure that I’ve heard about congressional subpoenas on the news a lot recently.

Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) tweeted at 3:11 PM on Mon, Dec 02, 2019:
“Mini Mike Bloomberg has instructed his third rate news organization not to investigate him or any Democrat, but to go after President Trump, only. The Failing New York Times thinks that is O.K., because their hatred & bias is so great they can’t even see straight. It’s not O.K.!”

Brad Parscale said Trump is “accustomed to unfair reporting practices” but Bloomberg News’ decision takes it too far because “most news organizations don’t announce their biases so publicly."

Iran Contra gets all the ink but from the huge number of scandals and corruption in the Reagan administration it was the HUD scandals that rang up the most numbers.

Nixon takes the raw number of most convictions over Reagan 40/36 but there were just so many more scandals in the Reagan administration you can make a solid case that Reagan’s was the most corrupt in the modern era, certainly post WWII.

Pretend billionaire doesn’t like actual self made billionaire. Shocking.

Are you in the right thread?

same with Clinton emails

It worked so what is your issue exactly?

Investigated over and over again.

No crime committed.

Sorry, but that’s the truth.

As opposed to say, (as PG pointed out) the Reagan HUD scandal, or Iran Contra, which were investigated, and people were thrown in jail.
