And I say that as someone who also loves all the Abrahamic religions, Islam included. I have always stated agreement with Obama’s comments about the beautiful sound of the invitation to prayer.

The difference is that Obama’s brand of Christianity was simply an expedient for community organizing … using the captive audience of a church to spread political messages. Witness his mentor’s “God damn America” sermon that was captured on video.

Which is quite different than Southern Baptists who use religion to justify prejudice. It’s funny how people still refuse to see what Wright was really condemning prejudice, not justifying it.

“God Damn America” was his centerpiece. This country has had prejudice. But it is not its core. Defend Wright all you want. Obama’s church was a front for political activism… much like the CIA will use a cigar shop in El Salvador as a front for an operation that takes place after the doors are closed. “Come to church, brother. The country has prejudice. Now. Present tense. If it seemed to be less during the Obama years, it’s back. And the funny thing is Wright wasn’t talking to you. He was talking to his congregation. They got the meaning. You and apparently the rest of conservatives didn’t. Was he spurring on political activism? I’d say yes. Was that wrong? No. His reasoning was rooted in the Bible and the words of Jesus. Made sense to me. Sorry if it didn’t to others.

Because liberals think childish, vicious sarcasm against conservatives, like Colbert or SNL are funny but the reverse is not.

Wlkow was tough to listen to. I tried. But he was just mean. Same schtick, with a less whiny voice then Levin.

The other channels you listen to are on my list as well…rarely listen to MSNBC, mostly POTUS. Try to catch John Fugelsang on 121. Good take on politics, and has great interviews with a variety of people…pols, authors, entertainers…real good stuff. Very funny as well.

Sure, there are plenty of comedians that go after cons…most of them also go after libs as well.

Many stay clear of politics, for obvious reasons.

But the huge chip, many white, straight, christian men put on their shoulder, is mind boggling.
