Generally can’t open the windows of schools built after oh 1980.

Perhaps. But I’m not sure how you keep them isolated in an open society.

You don’t know to keep everyone isolated either.

Sure we do. Look at the national graph. We beat down the first surge with statewide mandates. It worked. It was just also incredibly painful.
Not really sure why we are arguing this. The second wave is getting beaten down. The vaccine is rolling out. It’s time to start opening up again for everyone.
This is a moot argument.

I haven’t seen any data to date saying mandates and shutdowns did anything. At least not if they bothered to weigh the negative impacts of them as well.

The negative impacts of the lock downs are not the same metric. It’s a subjective comparison.

Vaccine priority should go to undocumented workers, unaccompanied undocumented children, and, coyotes first.
Also all teachers should get head of line. They are risking their lives to be baby sitters of crying parents. Undocumented are victims of opression in the countries they flee from.
If the former bartenderess turned political hack can get the vaccine before you and I, then the above mentioned distro is the best plan.

The best Covid plan is to get everybody vaccinated as soon as possible.

But who is first in line? There are only 29 million undocumented residents in the USA. They should go first. We could give them citizenship along with the Vaccine. They are victims who were forced to flee.

Who do you think should be first? Put on your thinking cap.

I did. It went over ones head, me thinks.
you msy be right, but if so, its not because they’re less vulnerable, we know they’re not. Its because its easier for them to stay cloistered. How long do you figure we should keep retirees under house arrest? Until we vaccinate everyone else?

Remember and reflect on one comment Goofernor Cuomo made at his Emmi Award winning daily COVID Pressers:.
“Older people, vulnerable people are going to die from this virus. That is going to happen despite whatever you do.”
He is a liberal darling who has a little sexual harassment case that he and his woke buddies are trying to make disappear.

Another Emmi Award winning quote from the Goofernor:
“Look, whether a person died in a hospital or died in a nursing home, people died.” Cuomo told reporters on Friday. My father “was in a hospital, got transferred to a nursing home. My father died. My father was in a nursing home, got transferred to a hospital. My father died. People died.”
So we do need federal mandated plan to deal with any health crisis or pandemic. We learned that blue state governors and unelected bureaucrats have made very bad decisions.

Hey DeSantis and Abbott really got under Newsom’s skin. This really exposed how ■■■■■■ up.the liberal Dimocrat lockdown mentality is.

But maybe not necessary anyway. Governor Abbotts announcement today included that it was the goal to have everyone in Texas over 65 who wanted an inoculation to have it available before the end of March.

Thank goodness for the VA, I am done. My state still does not have enough vaccines to get most people 70 and over. Because I get medical care from the VA, I am done.
