In his rally speech in Alabama this weekend, former President Trump opened by mocking President Biden’s stutter to laughs and cheers from the audience.

As a Mom, do you think making fun of handicaps others struggle to overcome presents a good role model for your children?

I’m curious why you think it’s an issue for the Senator one way or the other.

I’m assuming you voted for Biden, are you Okay with flooding the country with illegals, lying about his son’s businesses, ignoring the families of the 13 Marines killed in Afghanistan, having to be pushed into even mentioned Laken Riley and then screwing up her name, lying about the horseback border patrol agents a couple of years ago, I read a story the other day that documented 30 lies he told during that speech are you ok with that. Biden lies to Gold Star families trying to equate their loss to his son’s, which while tragic was under completely different circumstances. Are you personally good with all of that?

Liberals have openly mocked everything Mr. Trump has done since the day he came down the escalator in 2015 and belittled conservative Republicans repeatedly…is that a positive role model for children?

So you are extrapolating from believing I was insinuating something to stating I was lying. That’s s stretch that one again indicates you are pulling out all the stops to avoid answering the question.

Yet, according to today’s progressive, none of those men were actually of good character. In fact they are viewed by progressives as having such a low, and unforgivable character, that their monuments should be torn down and their legacies swept from the public consciousness.

Another version of mean tweets? Elections are about policy, with the policies of the candidate the important factor. She would be wise to teach her children the difference between personal conduct and government policy positions. Then her children would know that the outwardly prime and proper can advocate for terrible and ineffective public policies, while the rude and obnoxious can champion prudent and effective public policies.

Because Senator Britt presented herself as a concerned Mom, went so far as to invoke her children as a key element in how her worldview is shaped.

Your criticisms of Biden may be valid. They certainly are frequently aired in this community. They are irrelevant to this thread,

Liberal mockery is not a good role model. However, while I have criticized Donald Trump both for what I view as poor policy choices and substantial ethical failings, none of that has oonstituted mockery. I am comfortable telling my children to raise issues about policies and personal failings they are not in agreement with.

The question here is whether mocking a person’s acknowledged disability is a good lesson for children? We’re seventy posts in and most everyone has ducked the question.

Its actually a straightforward question intended to highlight the conflict between people resonating to their preferred candidate’s emotional appeal and our Judeo-Christian values.

The unwillingness of people to answer the question straightforwardly is very telling.

Either state: this is a good role model for children or a bad role model for children. Isn’t the answer blindingly obvious?

You should start a thread on left-wing hypocrisy. I would be interested to learn more about your thoughts on that matter.
