Pittsburgh huh?
Back in the thrilling days of yesteryear when many of you whisper-snappers were maybe a twinkle in your daddy’s eye, bunch of us wanted to be LEOs in our hometown of Pittsburgh. But even after passing all the tests, good DD-214’s and lying about smoking weed many of us were told by the PPD: “you’re just who we’re looking for but you’re the wrong race and the wrong gender”! :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
The year, 1975. Oh well their loss.

Why bring history into it when we’re talking about why cops exist today? Who cares how the mountain men meted out justice?

Ah, I agree with the first part.

I blame them all.

Cops don’t “mete out justice”.

Don’t doubt government?

Just yesterday I asked the local Seargent and he said our small city force was down 14 officers. As the number of officers decrease and violent crime increases…so will vigilantism.

No, they protect criminals. It’s why they exist. …

And conceal carry (in my opinion) is about to be the law of the land.

Good times.

Only if you’re too high strung. Then it turns out that you’re no daisy.

Carry will not be. “Concealed” is a dress code.

The ruling class is afraid. Including SCOTUS. Even Scalia was afraid.

Oops, a total mistake. I meant constitutional carry.

I don’t think it will be.

I do. Especially after seeing how they ruled in Dobbs; no more incrementalism.

Even if they do, there will be carve outs. NYC for example.

I doubt it. Especially since NYCRPA v. Bruden is adressing a NYC carve out.

Watch.

Where’s Phoenix Jones these days? Ever seen the video of him putting the smackdown on some street belligerents?

That’s all I can do. Thankfully, the wait is almost over.
