Did you know that on January 6 2017 Democrats actually objected to electors from more states than Republicans intended to object to on January 6 2021. Rep Khana from CA objected to electors from Alabama…a state Trump won by 30 points. Noted poster child for term limits mad Maxine waters objected to I believe Wyoming, a state Trump won in a blowout.

Those are not facts, The events at the capitol were not incited by his speech but were planned by a bunch of fools in advance of January 6. The President encouraged people to be “peaceful and patriotic.” The president’s supporters acted legally and within their Constitutional rights and obligations if they felt there were legitimate questions about the legitimacy of electors. The only people who benefitted from Jan 6 were leftist Democrats who were handed a gift by the stupid minority mob to shut down any and all legitimate Constitutional debate.

The Democratic VP gaveled them all down for either failing to have a Senator’s signature or else as grandstanding debate.

It wasn’t “planned” as an actual attempt to overturn the election…it was a political stunt. No Dem senator would grant these stunts legitimacy by signing on to these objections. Nor would the VP by allowing them.

The GOP actually got Senators to sign on to states that could flip the election. The sitting President actually pressured his Vice-president to unilaterally throw out electoral votes…Pence had to fight his own President, his own party, and Trump supporters to do his duty.

2017 was an annoying and childish stunt, but still didn’t even come close to the level of what the GOP was planning in 2021.
