Incoming Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez announced this week she plans on taking a “self-care” break before starting her term in early January; saying she’s “taking a few days to take care of myself.”
This little girl will end up being very corrupt. Signs are all there.
I doubt those who voted for this mess have the time OR money to enjoy “taking a few days” to take care of themselves and don’t have the money to buy “wild rice and salmon”.
This is a completely sane and rational thing that many people do when going from one job to the next. She commented herself on how much blowback there would be. Self care is important, and most congressional members do it in private because they have families and don’t care about social media.
