If there’s an imbalance of trade between the country they’re based in and the US, I’d tariff the goods until the trade is balanced. That’s fair. Otherwise our wealth is simply transferred over time to another country.

The deficit is exploding. This most recent explosion was due to Trump and the Republican Congress giving themselves a massive tax cut.
